Quality Assurance Auditor / QA Consultant

You will work with the QA team across EMEA, the local development team and the consulting teams to audit and continuously improve current quality assurance processes and will report to the Risk/ Quality Assurance Manager.

Principal responsibilities:

Audit and challenge the current testing and quality control approach and methodologies used by consultants, architects, engineers, developers, qa specialists

Create proposals to enhance the testing standards and, more globally, to manage the quality of client deliveries / releases.

Evaluate the opportunity to implement new QA processes based on best practice

Define and generate buyin for proposals for the implementation of capacity, stress, scalability and performance tests, including creating and maintaining performance test scripts, plans and strategies.

Provide regular status updates and project estimates to the Management

ESSENTIAL
Masters / PhD in Computer Science or highly technical degree
7 years experience in functional quality assurance, regression, performance and automation testing
Ideally within a large IT/software company (50 developers)
Extensive knowledge of formal and informal test techniques
Experience of automated test tools
Experience working on Agile projects is a plus
Technical/Programming skills: Java/C/C , Unix, SQL (Sybase/Oracle), XML
Strong analytical, organizational skills and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, international environment

NOTE: Travel may account for up to 50% of this assignment, within Europe. Where travel is required weekly return flight will be provided.
