Solutions Architect

An experienced Solutions Architect is required for a leading Technology Solutions Consulting firm, this particular company has a worldwide presence and the role will be based in Dublin.

The ideal candidate
•8-10 years experience in an Infrastructure environment
•Experience in Datacentre design and implementation
•Experience in determining customer’s requirements and implementing customer delivery

Essential Expertise
•Broad IT industry knowledge.
•Extensive experience of working with customers to determine infrastructure requirements and migration strategies.
•Excellent analysis skills
•Excellent customer workshop facilitation skills including ability to influence at CEO/CIO levels.
•Excellent strategy development and mentoring skills
•Ability to play a leadership role in business development activities
•Business acumen and ability to liaise with Sales and business management to design technical solutions that take account of commercial constraints .
•Proven ability to scope and estimate project activities and resource requirements and identify project risks to ensure competitive, profitable and high quality solutions are proposed and delivered.
•A strong track record of knowledge contribution

Extensive experience in some or all of the following:
•DCT Transformation architecture and design
•Networked storage/SAN rollout
•Expertise in HP Blade Technology, HP EVA, HP StorageWorks, and HP Proliant systems
•Left-hand networks
•Knowledge and experience of virtualisation technologies and architectures (VMware, Citrix, Xen)

Your responsibilities will include and not limited to:
•Designing, tailoring and architecting complex large-scale infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of the client
•Effectively applying technical knowledge to pre-sales situations and crafting solutions for clients
•Establishing and maintaining a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the client
•Providing technical consulting expertise and leadership to internal project teams and clients
•Providing coaching, guidance and leadership to colleagues
