A multinational company requires a GRPAHIC DESIGN LEAD to drive the design of graphics and aniations in an online environment. Graphic design and Multimedia Design experience in an online environment is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work closely with, and take direction from the director of creative and interactive design to establish and maintain integrity of design outputs.
• Work closely with project managers, digital learning designers, engineers, and QA to deliver highly interactive, visually appealing, and engaging digital learning products.
• Work with junior designers. Assign tasks and provide mentorship and direction to junior members of the team.
• Provide creative/art design and direction for assigned programs at all stages of development from concept through design to completion.
• Design visually creative solutions that meet learning design requirements.
• Work respectfully within the parameters of stylized brands.
• Produce styleguides, mock-ups and prototypes as required to communicate required design parameters to outsource design companies.
• Manage outsource design companies to ensure that design integrity is maintained consistently, and ensure that outsource designers comply with design requirements.
• Deliver quality work within scheduled timeframes.
Skills and Experience
• Third-level qualification in one of the art disciplines: Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Interactive Design
• Proven lead creative design experience in a digital production environment.
• Capacity to work well with other creative people: to embrace and work with other ideas
• Demonstration of exceptional ability in user interface design or web design
• Solid drawing skills and imaginative approach
• Proficient in Flash and Photoshop – may be required to learn other applications swiftly
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of schedules and risk mitigation
• Ability to define tasks, delegate and ensure quality of deliveries
• Experience producing design work for the life cycle of a multimedia product: from concept to final art delivery
• Strong innovative critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Work well under pressure and juggle multiple projects.
• Good oral and written communication skills
