My client is seeking suitable candidates for the role of Embedded Linux Developer
SKILLS
• Honours Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
• 2-5 years of professional SW development
• Proven strong C programming skills and a solid grounding in the fundamentals of computer science
• Proven Linux/UNIX development skills (ideally in an embedded environment) including networking, scripting and socket programming
• Possess a thorough understanding and an interest in LAN/WAN technologies/networking concepts protocols, applications and interfaces
• Excellent analytical skills and an ability to cope with ambiguity and change
• Proven experience in the full software development cycle within a project based environment
• Self starter with excellent communication and documentation skills
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
• Proven development experience with Embedded Linux Kernel and Device Drivers
• Development experience with Asterisk/openWRT
• Experience of working in an embedded software development environment
• Proven ability to quickly diagnose and resolve networking problems
• Proven telecoms protocols knowledge and expertise
