Production Support Team Lead

Our client is one of Belfast’s leading software development houses, specialising in development and support of a range of large-scale applications specific to the banking and financial services sector. This is a new role and entails management of a small team of dedicated Production Support Analysts in a lively and fast-paced environment.

The Team Leader will interact with team members, end-users, business managers and other teams to ensure the optimum provision of support for a number of dynamic applications used across multiple regions. Other responsibilities include managing ad-hoc projects such as release co-ordination or business testing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team lead looking for a new challenge or someone who has experience of ‘stepping up’ to take on team lead responsibilities and seeking a permanent team Lead role. We are looking for the following background:

– Experience of Software Application Support, ideally in a banking / finance environment but this is not essential
– Strong SQL skills, ideally some exposure to Unix
– Solid analytical skills with keen attention to detail
– Excellent communication, organisation and mentoring skills
