IT Release Management Engineer
€45000 - €55000 per annum
Our client is a leading multinational and they are currently seeking an established Internal Release Management Engineer to join the existing team. The success full candidate will have relevant experience in releasing into Oracle based applications and would have previous exposure to Oracle forms.
You will be a self motivated professional who is able to liaise at all levels of the SDLC and who is adept at roll out and problem solving and above all quick to identify issues and adept at responding to them in a timely fashion. You will have a thorough understanding of tagging and branching and will have proven track record of installing and configuring CVS in large environments.
Mandatory skill sets;
– Scripting skills in PERL and Python
– Strong knowledge of Linux tools GREP, SWD and AWK
– Proven working knowledge of Linux environment and bash shell scripting within CVS commands, PL/SQL and SQL.
– Installation and configuration of Web interfacing.
Flexibility will be required to work on weekends or evenings at times. This in an in-house Release Management role and would be an ideal stepping stone to Project management.
