Biomedical Research Ltd (BMR), through its subsidiaries Slendertone & Neurotech, is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of medical devices and consumer health & fitness products.
A number of experienced Software Engineers are now required to join the multidisciplinary R&D team at BMR in Galway. The successful candidates will design, develop, verify & document the software solutions under medical device standard design controls.
Software Engineer – Embedded GUI Developer (12 month Contract)
Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Strong expertise in developing Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for embedded systems (developing in embedded C).
• Proven expertise in designing & delivering GUI / Windows Applications, preferably using Visual Basic
• Expertise in PC interface development (USB, Serial, etc)
• Good documentation skills
• A background in electronics
Previous experience of working in a regulated environment would be an advantage for all of these positions.
