The ideal candidate will lead a small team to support the programme and project managers to ensure appropriate governance and control for the safe and successful delivery of strategic programmes and projects. Working with programme directors and managers and project managers in the review of project status risks issues processes and financial implications via the local reporting and governance process To ensure project administration tasks are completed to appropriate standards. This role will reside in the Business Change Function. The responsibilities of the successful candidates will include but not necessarily be limited to the following Mentor and manage other team members. Set up and maintain programme project repository. Maintain and Manage control logs issues risks and Change etc identified within global and local reporting and engage with Programme and Project Managers through the governance process to resolve them. Document and maintain the integrated programme plan. Monitor resourcing across the programme and projects. Produce regular consolidated status reports. Monitor costs against budget. Ad hoc MI and presentations Ensure that European Hub standards and processes are adhered to. Ensure managed programme and project closure. Highlight issues and vulnerabilities to the Programme Director. Define and explains scope and role of PMO with Programme Managers and Project Managers. Prioritises PMO tasks and objectives in response to both internal and external demands Manage business requirement analysis for additional PMO tasks and responsibilities. Manage monthly portfolio review meeting with appropriate project colleagues. Contribute to global PMO processes and procedures. Performs Process Modelling and Process Re-engineering Ensure standard methodology and processes are followed in Governance and Project Management. Understand how PMO interfaces with other PMOs and boundaries or roles and responsibilities. Support the Programme and Project Managers through the governance process in the reporting and tracking of project status risks and issues. Act as a liaison between local PMO and business customers business analysts Hub Management and project managers Work with external 3rd party suppliers and regulatory bodies where applicable. Prioritise workload to ensure key deliveries are met. Retain a sense of perspective. Understand requirements of PMO customers at both local and global level and make informed decisions in response to customer requirements Skills and Experience A minimum of 4 years experience as a Project Manager or PMO consultant or experience managing large projects and programs Project planning experience and use of tools such as MS Project. Demonstrate awareness of the organisations aims objectives and departmental procedures. Ability to analyse project data and challenge and influence outcomes to ensure successful and controlled delivery Strong people Management skills Attention to detail
