As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for the design, build and operational support of the firm’s SQL and Oracle databases.
* 5 years IT experience.
* Minimum 3 years SQL DBA experience – SQL 2000, 2005 and 2008.
* Minimum 1 year Oracle DBA experience – 9i, 10g and 11g along with experience working as senior / lead DBA with supervisory responsibilities.
* Net development experience highly desirable though not essential.
* Knowledge and experience of standards implementation, industry best practice and vulnerability management.
* Experience working to committed deadlines and budgets; working with technical and non-technical resources; implementing and supporting third party applications; working with end users and managing their expectations; project management including leading projects as a technical lead; developing processes and procedures, change management and configuration management.
