Java Developer

Curach Consulting is a leading Business and Technology consultancy. We work with a wide range of clients across various industry sectors to help deliver complex business and IT projects.

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Java Developer for a contract role, based onsite with one of our city centre clients. Our client is restructuring their current website and require a Senior Java Analyst to augment our existing team.

This is a 4 month contract and will be based on site at our client’s Dublin city centre premises.

Job Description:
• Participate in the design the overall website
• Develop JSP/Javascript/Ajax User Interfaces.
• CSS, Weblogic 9.2 experience
• Unit Test on work delivered
• Support release management.
• Support configuration management.
• Support testing process.
• Skills transfer to client Staff.

Person Specification:
• A minimum of 3 years J2EE experience.
• A minimum of 3 years JSP/HTML/Javascript experience.
• Experience working with on large, distributed system with many interfaces
• Mark up Languages: XML/XSLT Experience
• Object Orientated Development/Design experience
• Knowledge and experience working with complex User Interfaces.
• Application server experience (WebLogic 9.2 etc.)
• Good communication skills particularly with non-technical people including documentation skills
• Good results focussed, team player
• Good interpersonal skills
• Quality focussed
