Software Testing Engineer (automation tools exp)

My client based in South Dublin City has an opportunity for a software tester with experience with automated testing tools.
Main duties & responsibilities:
• Working closely with the development manager and the business to ensure that systems are delivered in a high quality fashion
• Responsibility for testing multiple projects in a release
• Analysing issues and identifying problems
• Troubleshooting environmental and application configuration issues
• Coordinating and communicating with other departments and third party vendors
• Deploying and configuring releases and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Essential Competencies:
• Experience with UNIX systems and RDBMS
• Release experience in a busy development environment
• Enthusiastic and structured approach to application testing
• Experienced in writing and executing test plans
Experience:
• Preferably three years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of test automation tools is an advantage
