Our client is Ireland's leading private ICT company. Servicing customers nationwide, they have offices in Dublin, Cork and Galway. An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Consultant / Senior Consulting Engineer to join their team.

This role would suit a VMWare VCP certified consultant looking for a position involving the design and delivery of complete solutions.

As a Technical Consultant / Senior Consulting Engineer you will be responsible for designing and installing IT technical solutions on behalf of clients.

Using pre-existing solutions, you will work on a range of projects, including Citrix, Microsoft, infrastructure and applications. This will involve working with clients to develop and enhance solutions, combining both project management and consultancy.

To be considered for this position, you must:

– have extensive commercial experience within a customer-facing technical IT position
– possess a background in field-based consultancy
– be certified in VMWare VCP

As a Technical Consultant / Senior Consulting Engineer you will also need to demonstrate strong technical writing and proposal development skills. The ideal candidate will also be dynamic, self-motivated and able to develop this role to its maximum potential.

It would be beneficial to your application if you are degree educated (or equivalent) and/or hold other industry certifications, such as Cisco, IBM, HP etc.
