Our client is an award winning online learning solutions provider. Their products and services include e-learning, learning portals, learning management systems and continuing professional development management tools. An opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Account Manager / BDM to join their team.

This role would suit a driven B2B sales professional with experience of selling online solutions and services, looking to further their career within a leading company.

As a Sales Account Manager / BDM you will be the main point of contact for a number of assigned customers and sales prospects. You will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities throughout Ireland and the UK.

Your focus will be on managing and growing existing accounts by maintaining regular contact with clients by telephone, email and face to face meetings. Additionally you will identify new business opportunities within your accounts, including up-selling and cross-selling other products and services.

Your duties will include:

– Providing support and advice for existing customers
– Helping the company to expand within target areas, including the public sector, health authorities and education establishments by developing new business opportunities
– Giving presentations and providing an in-depth induction to the products and services
– Understanding business requirements from customers and helping refine these into project deliverables

To be considered for this position, you must have:

– Solid B2B (business to business) sales experience
– Experience of selling online services, such as IT or software

As a Sales Account Manager / BDM you must be an effective communicator, negotiator and influencer. You must have a hard working and organised approach with the ability to work as part of a team. The ability to analyse and interpret information quickly is also key.

Whilst not essential, any experience in the learning and development sector would be beneficial to your application, as would a third-level qualification.
