Role: URGENT Galway City Automation Software Tester

2 jobs available for a talented Automation tester with a background in testing C# Web or C++ Products using software engineering test processes, ideally in an agile development environment, with the desire to ensure Quality in the products they test. The position will be on a Scrum Team and as such the individual will be relied upon as a QA resource and skill set on the Scrum team. The position will require experience in functional test processes and test automation techniques.

Required Skills:-
Strong Software Tester -Manual & Automation ( A minimum of 6months – 1yrs Automation essential)
Understanding of QA practices in terms of test plans and their execution.
Experience with end-to-end test processes and the ability to formulate test strategy for white box testing on software application features written in C# or C++.
Ability to ramp quickly on new product functionality and be able to isolate root cause of defects.
Use of excel and online tools for creating/maintaining test cases.
Experience working on the automation of test suites is desirable.
Creation and maintenance of test and quality metrics.
Take pride in being able to find software defects.
Networking concepts that allow you to install and setup test environments.
Contributing to the documentation of articles/technical notes for the products knowledge base.

Required Experience
Degree in a Computer Science related field with at least 4 years of experience in a software QA environment.
Experience of QA in an agile development environment is highly desirable.
