Flash Designer / Developer

Job Purpose The role of a Flash Developer is to help develop and execute engaging interactive design concepts and applications, with the highest attention to detail and quality of finish. You will work alongside existing flash, design and implementation experts in a dynamic, rapid development environment on both short and long term development projects for our high-end clients. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for solving problems and participating in creative conceptualisation and brainstorming, be endlessly enthusiastic and have boundless energy, all of this to be underpinned with effective communication, both formal and informal. Key Responsibilities   Ensure quality work is delivered on time, to specification and on budget. Present execution at various stages and completed work internally and to clients A dedicated and enthusiastic approach to project work. A passionate interest in the future of the Flash platform on both the desktop and mobile platforms. Honest and thorough time management and completion of time sheets   Required Skills Create and develop rich interactive experiences with an ability to follow a design route and technical specification alongside a development team. Effective communication with the Creative Director and Information Architect in order to translate project requirements into workable briefs. A full knowledge of Flash CS4 and ActionScript 2 and 3. A good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Understanding and experience of Flash Video encoding and delivery. An excellent understanding of UI, Usability and interface creation. Good communication, presentation and prioritisation skills. Strong team player. Interest in, and knowledge of, recent work and advances within the industry. A liking for tea and cake is essential. Preferred Qualifications Strong portfolio of relevant interactive work. Upwards of 2 years of Agency experience.
