With customers in over 35 different countries, our client specialises in the development and implementation of banking systems to credit unions, banks and savings and loans organisations. An opportunity has now arisen for a Customer Support Engineer to join their team.

This role would suit a graduate (or equivalent) with good experience in a SQL/Windows network environment and excellent communication skills looking to join a progressive and dynamic company offering exciting opportunities for overseas travel.

Joining a customer centric team, as a Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of remote support services to clients in one of 35 different countries.

You will be tasked with:

– Handling telephone and web enquiries
– Dealing with technical and transaction processing issues
– Working on systems implementation projects, including software installation, customer training and network configuration
– Resolving SQL issues from application users

To be considered for the role of Customer Support Engineer, you must have:

– A degree (or equivalent)
– Proven commercial experience within a Microsoft Windows network environment using SQL

Additionally, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive attitude to helping customers.

Although not essential, experience in a similar IT support role and relevant environment would be a distinct advantage to your application. Experience of supporting finance or accountancy systems would also be beneficial, as would a degree (or equivalent) in IT, finance, accountancy or business studies.
