IT Analyst – Mainframe

Global IT Company in Ireland is looking for an experienced IT Analyst for 16 months contract.

Skills Required:
– Work with the business and other stakeholders to assess current capabilities and identify high-level business requirements
– Review, and be responsible for, the overall development and integration of requirements.
– Assist in defining and reviewing the business and technical requirements for the application
– Design individual technology components of the application development, execution, or operations architecture.
– Work with other designers and the technical architect to make sure that the architecture components interact to fulfill the requirements and meet performance goals.
– Design and implement quick wins, and evaluate whether the results meet performance goals.
– Develop application prototype and conduct conference room pilot to evaluate solution options.
– Confirm the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables. Resolve any inconsistencies discovered.
– Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other project areas.
– Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
– Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in Verification and Validation Overview to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards.
– Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
