Reports to IT Infrastructure Manager
Job Summary
• Technical responsibly for QI Network, Telephony infrastructure, Security and Technical systems integration.
• Responsible for project management of QDI Infrastructure projects.
• Responsible for managing the Network Services Team and Technical Specialists.
Key Tasks
• Recruitment and Management of all staffing requirements within the IT Network team.
• Review of Systems Specifications to ensure compliance with overall technical infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying technical and business levels
• Costing and control of systems upgrade ensuring adequate availability for users.
• Maintenance of relationship with external third party suppliers of hardware and management of third party costs in respect of services and equipment provided.
• Monitoring of staff performance and the setting of performance related pay levels for internal staff.
• Monitoring and alerting of system performance.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Network Service Continuity program.
• Remain in a position to advise the Company in respect of innovation and assess perspective initiatives that may enhance the long-term profitability of the Company.
• Ensure Network & Telecoms systems remain in line with standards defined by QDI IT Information Security policies.
This is a senior management position. The contract is expected to run for 6 months+. Candidates must be available to commence contract in the North midlands region.
