Citrix Specialist

I.T Alliance, an IT services provider, are looking to recruit a Citrix specialist for a 3 month contract on a managed service in Dublin West.

Your role, as a Citrix specialist will be to provide support to the global windows and citrix environments for the entire group.

Role:

• Support of Citrix environment including Citrix XenApp server associated environments.
• Application Sequencing / Scripting
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution of the Citrix and Windows environment.
• Windows 2000/2003 / 2008 server administration including Active Directory
• Linux Redhat server support.
• Plan, develop, install and maintain the supported environments
• Comply and adhere to all key support processes
• Develop and maintain support documentation in accordance with company standards
• Managing administrative duties, such as Clarity, USD ticket documentation effectively and in a proactive way
• Advise on tools, best practice techniques and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain support documentation in accordance with company standards.

Skills Required:

• Citrix XennApp 4.5 Presentation Server Implementation and configuration experience.
• Sequencing applications using Microsoft App-V 4.5
• Windows 2000/2003 / 2008 server administration in enterprise environment including Active Directory (MCSE Level
• Experience of working in an enterprise computing environment.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
• Knowledge of current technologies in accordance with this role
• Knowledge of Project Management methodology
• Demonstrable experience with pro-actively managing work and addressing and prioritising demands
• Strong working knowledge of current and emerging trends
• Fluent in business English language – written and verbal
• Experience in managing workload and prioritise without supervision. This includes an ability to balance multiple high priority requests
