Project Manager
Our client is a global hi-tech employer with a large software development centre located in the midlands/Westmeath region of Ireland. Due to the ongoing success of their software centre, they are now hiring an experienced Software Project Manager.
Role:
The Project Manager will lead a project team with end-to-end responsibility for analysis, planning, execution and delivery of telecoms products for the global market. You will manage the overall project team to ensure stakeholder and customer expectations are fulfilled. You will formulate plans and work package structures for assigned sub-projects, track/review progress against plan, track/review expenditure against budgets in a multi stake-holder domain and provide guidance and mentoring to the Project Management Team. You will liaise with Line Manager/Resource Owners over use of resources on the program and obtain resource commitments and you will identify issues and risks to the completion of the Project and take action to manage project risk. HYou will also be involved in driving the introduction of Agile development practices in the project teams.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required
You should have a primary degree in a relevant subject area (e.g. Electronics, Software or Telecoms) and ideally a Project Management qualification. You must come from the telecoms sector and have displayed leadership and the ability to produce results at the head of a multi-national multi-site software project team. You should have demonstrated skills within the PM BOK knowledge areas. You must be customer oriented with strong commercial awareness. You should have strong interpersonal skills, particularly in the areas of managing customer relationships and negotiation. You should have the ability to produce results while working under pressure, and be resourceful in problem solving.
