An opportunity has now arisen for an IT Support Technician / IT Field Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

This role would suit a motivated and qualified IT support professional looking to develop their skills and experience within a dynamic and challenging contract.

As an IT Support Technician / IT Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing IT support to a variety of SME and corporate clients.

Visiting customer sites across the Co Waterford, Co Kilkenny and Co Tipperary areas, you will provide hardware and software support, working on a range of diverse and interesting projects. In addition to supporting Microsoft operating systems, you will troubleshoot any networking, internet, email and IT security issues.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

– Proven IT support experience
– A Microsoft qualification, such as an MCP, MCSA or MCSE
– A full driving licence

As an IT Support Technician / IT Field Support Engineer, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work under your own initiative is also key.
