Project Manager
We are a leading USA hi-tech software firm with a significant presence in Limerick City. Due to ongoing expansion we are now hiring for the position of Project Manager. Role:
You will be responsible for managing a development group on small to medium-sized software development projects to ensure the successful completion of development activities for specific products or releases. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, with agreed-upon scope, and according to corporate quality standards. You will ensure that the implementation of the product satisfies the product requirements and that the product architecture and implementation are maintainable and extensible to accommodate future development and maintenance (architecture documentation and architecture design review).
Candidate profile:
Educated to degree level in business, software engineering or computer science, you have a minimum 6 – 8 yrs experience in software development or analysis and have a proven track record in managing complex software product development projects, ideally in a geographically dispersed project team environment . You have a deep knowledge of current software development design procedures and you have excellent decision making and communications skills. Skills in ERP would be desirable.
