Our client is a successful software firm based in County Tipperary. They have retained PBRecruitment to identify a dynamic Technical Services Manager to take ownership of their service operation. The Role:
The Manager will be responsible for the management, administration and profitability of the Service & Support department. Your remit will include managing a small team of Engineers for Hardware/Software Professional Services and Support. You will be looking after the commercial management and ensuring that the department remains profitable. You will be responsible for Service Contract Management and you will provide expert consultancy service to the Sales Team on Project Specifications, and on presales meetings. You will also have ownership of the firm’s own I.T Infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
The successful candidate will need to be commercially orientated and have excellent people management skills. A strong background in mainstream I.T and networking (LAN, WAN, wireless and mobile) is required.
As this is a commercially focused role, a proven track record in customer facing role is essential. You should ideally have prior experience of managing field service engineers.
Essential to the role is the ability to work on your own initiative in a very fast moving working environment. My client is looking to hire a bright and ambitious Manager who can drive the Service & Support department forward in line with the company’s expansion plan.
