Application Support Engineer sought to join the Application Support team and provide technical and administrative support for all systems in the Dublin office.
Role:
Application Support – provide primary support by dealing with user requests and responding to outages for all systems
Application Maintenance – new system deployments and upgrades for all systems
System Monitoring – monitoring of systems and alerts through continued use of operations monitoring
Continuous improvement of support procedures, tools and runtime environment
Interact with various internal IT support functions to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
Liaising with vendors as required
Deployment of new desktop hardware
Deployment of software through scripts and in-house tools
Liaising with technology teams in Dublin and internationally
Support and configuration of batch environment
User/Desk relocation
Log and track issues ensuring the customer is kept aware of progress
You:
B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years providing 2nd level application support (not specific to desktop support)
or
2 years supporting large scale, complex applications.
