Senior Systems Analyst

This is a great opportunity to work for a successful organisation in a Systems Analyst position. You will have previously come from a technical background (software, database etc.) or performed a technical Business Analyst position. My client has a variety of customers who use differing methodologies so experience in Agile, UML, SSADM, Waterfall, Rapid Application Development (RAD) or other standard analytical tool sets would be advantageous. You will complete systems analysis throughout the SDLC and be involved through to the test environments and release weekends. Often Iterative Development methods are used so an appreciation of these methods would be nice to have. Your skills in communications need to be excellent with the ability to run workshops and engage with all levels within the organisation. You will be working alongside Project Managers, Solutions Architects and senior business users The organisation has a policy of giving all employees plenty of training and a career map to suit individual aspirations. You will be formally trained in ISEB methods and be given opportunities to be promoted in to a Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Design and Solutions Architecture positions. If you have aspirations to be a Project Manager this position will not suit you.
