One of the UK ‘s premier brands has partnered with us to hire a highly motivated, self starting IT Audit Manager with exemplary communication and analytical skills following the recent move of one of their team elsewhere in the business. This is a technical role in essence as they have other auditors focussed focused applications and business process reviews and therefore require a CISA or CISSP qualified IT audit professional from another blue chip or Big Four environment. The successful candidate will possess good all round IT audit and IT general controls skills and will be comfortable with ITIL and COBIT standards, service management, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, incident & problem management etc coupled with a good grounding in IT infrastructure management/configuration security including databases (DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access), networks, operating systems (AS400, Windows XP, 2000 and 2003) and various middleware. This is a high profile team that from its inception a few years ago is involved in all key activities of the group and has a very good standing at executive level providing you with access to very senior management and a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. Nevertheless, yet despite the size and complexity of the organisation it prides itself on its lack of bureaucracy and the speed at which decisions are made and change implemented.
