Responsibilities:
* Application design
* Leading technical team meetings / Technical Project Management
* Team Leadership. Could be a team spread across multiple time-zones
* Software engineering activity using a selection of the technologies below
* Adherence to agreed application design
* Adherence to agreed timeline as defined by the Work Breakdown Structure
* Represent their team at Project meetings
* Technical documentation
* Software engineering activity using Java and Spring
* Adherence to agreed application design
* Adherence to agreed timeline as defined by the Work Breakdown Structure
* Technical documentation

Must Have Skills:
* Java (Primary skill)
* Spring Framework (Second skill)
* Portlet MVC Framework
* Especially Spring 2.5.6 / 3.0
* Java Application Server
* Best BEA WebLogic 10.
* Use of IDE’s such as Eclips
* Ability to work as part of a Global team

Additional Skills for UI developers
* HTML & CSS
* JavaScript

Additional skills for Senior Software engineers / Technical Leads / solution Architects
* Team Leadership
* Application Design
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* Technical Writing skills

Nice to have skills:
* UM
* Java Portlets development, specifically knowledge o
* JSR 168 & 286 (Portlet 2.0

* Best Vignette Portal (7.X) and experience building/configuring Vignette sites
