Version 1 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Tester. The position will be part of our project support and development team within Version 1's Business Applications Solutions Practice. We provide complete lifecycle solutions to our customers, helping them to achieve their business objectives by identifying requirements, designing and developing solutions and providing on-going support and strategic advice.
Role Description
Version 1 requires an experienced Tester for our client based in Cork. We are looking for someone to hit the ground running. Some experience in retail and financial systems would be an advantage.
Duties
• The definition and preparation of Test Data
• Creation of Test Plans, scheduling Tests and production of Test Scripts
• Test execution
• Quality Assurance of software deliverables
• Liaison with business unit clients and developers.
• Strong manual systems testing experience
• Knowledge of Test Director nice
Essential Skills
At least 3-5 years experience in the development of test plans, scripts and methodologies
Benefits
3 months contract starting February. Long term contract possibly available thereafter.
