Based in Cambridge, UK

[b]Length of contract:[/b] 2-3 months

[b]Start date:[/b] ASAP

A short term contract is available for an experienced [b]Test Engineer[/b] to assist in the testing of a Disaster Recovery feature interfacing with enterprise storage arrays.

This role will primarily involve test specification, development and execution of test cases to validate new features of a virtualisation product that communicates with third party storage array interfaces.

The role will be based in [b]Cambridge, UK[/b]

[b]Specific Skills:[/b]

* Applicants must have experience in Software Testing in an enterprise IT environment together with a solid understanding and experience of enterprise virtualization and enterprise storage arrays in particular.
* Exposure to virtualisation platforms such as Xen, XenServer, VMWare ESX is essential.
* Experience in scripting and/or programming in a Linux environment, with a view to test automation, is essential.

[b]Preferred, but not essential skills:[/b]

* Exposure and knowledge of storage protocols and standards including SMI-S, TCP/IP, Fibre Channel, iSCSI and SCSI are essential.
* Disaster Recovery solutions utilising any remote LUN replication technologies.
