Business Analyst

Business Analyst, Limerick.

We are a world leading software firm with a software centre in Limerick City. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Business Analyst. This is a new position within the company, its a permanent job and its an immediate requirement.
Role:
You will ensure that the delivered software product meet the business needs of customers by acting as the "virtual" customers or users during the development lifecycle. As such, you will define the detailed requirements, analyze the business needs, validate the solution with the customer, and trace the requirements through the product development, as well as other functions to support the project team.

Candidate profile:
Educated to degree level, the ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and systems analysis techniques, and ideally some experience of project management. Minimum 3 to 6 years technical experience in a software development (ideally agile development) and/or business
analysis environment. You should have a broad understanding of business, business technology and business applications allied with strong negotiation, presentation, facilitation and communication skills. A financial/accounting background is required for this role, gained from either a formal financial qualification or equivalent experience, and ERP skills would also be very desirable. APICS certified or part certified candidates would be of interest for this role also. Good organizational, analysis, interpretive and communications skills are an essential element of this role.
