QA/Software Test Engineer, Kerry.
My client, a dynamic software company in County Kerry, is now hiring a QA/Software Test Engineer. This is a permanent full time role based onsite in Kerry.
Role:
Working with the development teams, in the development lifecycle, you will be part of the overall project applications team with responsibility for quality. You will responsible for designing, creating and managing a suite of functional test plans and test cases, and for determining and documenting automated test strategy for new product features.
You will assist the development engineers in product defect diagnosis and you will develop, maintain and execute automated test cases. You will be involved in Performance Testing, including all aspects of systems testing and verification, eg black box end to end behavioural testing, load and stress testing, robustness and long duration soaking etc.
Required Skills/experience:
The ideal candidates will have 2+ years experience in the software testing industry and will have some experience in automated software testing tools. You have solid experience of testing web based applications, and you have an understanding of web-application development.
