[blue][b]Localisation Project Manager
Dublin, Ireland, 6 Month Contract[/b][/blue]
Our client is a major player in the Gaming Industry, and due to increased business they now have a requirement for a “Project Manager” to work on a Localisation project in their Dublin operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the localisation of assigned products from planning through to delivery.
[b]Key Duties:[/b]
• CreateTrack localisation plan for assigned titles, getting buy in from all stakeholders
• CreateTrack localisation budget for assigned titles
• CreateTrack risk analysis for assigned projects in a proactive and pre-emptive manner.
• Communicate clearly and in a timely fashion any risks, which could impact the deliverybudgetquality of the product. Put corrective measures in place where possible
• Communicate with ATVI-US production, development and QA teams
• Manage and co-ordinate the quality assurance process for localised versions of products
• Manage the code submission and approval process with third party developers
• Liaise with external localisation agencies and translators
[b]Strategic Responsibilities:[/b]
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Senior Project Management Director of Production Services in the development and promotion of localisation and internationalisation strategy within Activision
• Support in the review and develop internationalisation and localisation process
• Support Director of Production Services in the promotion of internationalisation and localisation standards within Activision
• Build relationships with Studios and Vendors to improve understanding and create efficiencies in the localisation process
[b]Qualifications / Training/ Experience (appropriate to the job):[/b]
• [b]Project Management[/b] – 1 to 3 years proven Project Management experience (in games localisation a bonus)
• [b]Localisation[/b] – Experience in Internationalisation localisation process, Eastern Europe and Asia a bonus
• [b]Process development[/b] – Has ability to review and create process focusing on efficiency improvements
