Systems Analyst

Role Summary

Working within the wider development team the Systems Analyst will perform a range of duties ranging from interacting with customers to learn and document requirements, liaising with software programmers to produce use cases, data flow diagrams, contributing to user interface and database designs. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a variety of programming languages, operating systems, computer hardware systems and the latest web technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Define, propose and implement solution designs:
* plan the system flow from the ground up.
* liaising extensively with external or internal clients;
* analysing clients’ existing systems;
* translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs and technical specifications;
* identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
* working closely with software developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
* Be integral part of the wider implementation team.
* Produce detailed technical specifications for specific software modules;

Ensure the adoption of appropriate technical standards:
* Ensuring solutions designed conform to relevant technical specifications.
* Ensuring high quality documentation is produced and maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
* To maintain an expert knowledge of all relevant, current and future technology
