Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop test plans, test cases and schedules for products/updates
Work with the development team to test products using automated and/or manual test approaches
Report test coverage/progress defined by associated project test plans
Become an expert in the product/ feature areas tested
Signing off on releases as they are ready for deployment, which includes passing test plans and notifying project managers
Proven ability to both negotiate and resolve stakeholder project conflicts (such as customers, project management and the development team)
Principal Qualification or Requirements
Bachelors Degree in a technical field
4 years experience in QA/Software Testing
Experience in programming, especially for software test automation
Experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Microsoft Test Tools
Knowledge of QA standards, processes tools and methodologies
Competencies
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Adopt a systematic approach to workload and tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Highly Motivated Individual
Demonstrate an ability to learn new technologies and products
