The Role
Solution Architect to architect and guide the successful implementation of quality technical solutions, providing strong technical leadership and advising on technology issues at all levels. This diverse and challenging role will involve leading the delivery of technical services and thought leadership to our major clients, and providing pre-sales technical and consultative support to the sales team. This is a strategic role and will require a mature individual with a strong and in-depth technical background coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. Specific areas where experience is desirable include:
Enterprise Architecture in a J2EE or .NET environment
Message-oriented middleware
Business Process Management/Workflow
EnterpriseIntegration and SOA
Strong working knowledge of RDBMS and ORM technologies
Solution operation and management
Security
System performance analysis and capacity planning
Experience of Requirements Management
Leading technical pre-sales activities including estimation and production of bid documentation

Of particular interest are proven delivery experience in the following areas:
Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics CRM solution experience
Autonomy Suite of Products
Web Content Management in Alterian or MS SharePoint environments
Rich Internet Application Technologies:AJAX, SilverLight, HTML5
Leading Agile Delivery

A high level of flexibility is required, including willingness to work away from home base.
