SharePoint Technical Architect/Lead – Contract

Purpose: To act as a key interface between infrastructure, development and project teams across a range of SharePoint 2010 projects. The firm is currently working on a project to deploy a new Global SharePoint Platform (GSP) based on SharePoint 2010. A number of projects will then be developed to sit on the GSP, including: a new intranet solution. Our new internet site will be launched in Jan 2012 and it has also been developed in Sharepoint 2010.

Key Requirements:
* 5 years experience of working with the SharePoint platform (earlier versions, particularly MOSS 2007)
* Recent relevant experience of working with SharePoint 2010 in the above role (** this is a MUST have **)
* SharePoint 2010 architecture & deployment experience
* SharePoint 2010 development experience
* SharePoint & SharePoint 2010 Information/Infrastructure Architecture development
* Site/Application development in SharePoint and SharePoint 2010
* Developing and implementing Governance Arrangements for SharePoint, particularly SharePoint 2010
* Migration of sites/content from earlier SharePoint platforms to Sharepoint 2010
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in teams and develop consensus
* Working with & challenging 3rd party providers

Duration: 6 months (SharePoint2010 is a strategic platform/solution for the firm going forward so possibility of extension)
