Lead Instructional Design Responsibilities:
· Act as Team Lead and representative of Instructional Design Team.
· Establish, document and implement highly efficient ID processes to meet business objectives.
· Recruitment of new ID’s for the group when required.
· Implement a training plan for all new ID’s and ensure that are properly trained prior to beginning any production work.
· Review ID teams performance on an ongoing basis.
· Continue to mentor all ID’s on an ongoing basis.
· Support production teams when required.
· Coordinate effectively with other functional groups across the company in order meet business objectives.
· Review internal and client edits to ensure continual improvement within the ID Team.
· Conduct regular internal audit and on screen reviews of the production offering to ensure the highest quality.
· Attend weekly production meetings to ensure that any concerns raised by ID’s are communicated to all Production Departments and vice versa.
· Collaborate with CTPG to develop effective learning solutions for a global audience of investigators, site coordinators and CRA’s.
· Attend CTPG meetings on a monthly basis
· Contribute to new product development.

Preferred Education & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related subject.
· Minimum five years of instructional design and/or technical writing experience – must have samples of work.
· Knowledge of current online teaching and learning methods.
· Able to quickly learn company technology.
· Demonstrated experience as a manager.
· Creative problem solving ability.
· Service orientation.
· Ability to work independently.
Knowledge & Development
· Through ongoing exposure and active team participation, build up knowledge of clinical trials including informed consent, safety reporting, and protocol specific issues to become more familiar with the product and capable of communicating directly with customers if required
· Take ownership for self-development with particular emphasis on project management skills, gaining a better understanding of the different functional skill sets & technologies, and interpersonal skills
