Business Analyst – Daily Rate Contract – Belfast
Core essential skills required:
– Strong background in techniques with respect to requirements gathering and extraction techniques from a variety of business levels.
– Show comprehensive experience with developing and managing Process Documentation, Functional Specifications and Use Cases.
– Experience in developing, documenting and executing test plans.
– Ability to facilitate requirement gathering workshops and review meetings with key business stakeholders.
– Be a methodical and organised person who is self-motivated and has ability to work independently.
– Be an effective communicator, personable and comfortable handling and engaging with groups of people, with good team work skills.
– Provide the link between the client and the development team regarding software functionality throughout the development life cycle.
– Experience of various software methodology life cycles, including Agile.
– Can easily adapt to a new working environment/project and quickly produce quality deliverables.
– Experience in working in a multi-site project environment.
Nice to have skills (not essential)
– Educated to degree level in a related subject or equivalent.
– Have formal certification in business analysis such as ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience.
– Knowledge and practical experience of CMMI.
– Experience developing software solutions for the Insurance Industry would be helpful.
– At least 3-5 years within a Business Analyst role.
