The Role
Developing a number of software solutions and system enhancements for various clients. These may involve projects, ongoing support or new projects for clients. This role involves a hands on client facing troubleshooting support element that will require you to use quick thinking and a professional approach.
Essential Criteria
• Track record of developing in Microsoft and experience in current versions Microsoft C# .NET, SQL Server and Visual Studio
• Strong knowledge of Web Services and Browser Technologies.
• Experience in the following: ASP.NET, XML, HTML, CSS and Silverlight.
• Solid understanding of OO methodologies and software development
• Track record in working with clients to estimate work and manage change request
• Must have strong communication skills in order to work with client staff and ensure that there is a clear, shared understanding of the end functionality required.
• Security clearance or ability to achieve BC/CTC level security clearance
• Must be able to work on their own initiative to understand issues and drive them to resolution.
Desirable Criteria
• Strong coding skills using scripting languages and C++ and/or Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of SharePoint would be a definite advantage
• Formal certification would be an advantage.
• Full analysis of system changes required
• Development and unit testing of changes
• Support of system and user acceptance.
• Business Intelligence experience using SQL reporting Services
