NOC Engineers x 3

Our leading industry client is seeking an experienced NOC engineers (traditional NOC – BGP and MPLS and switching and routing experience required) to join their dynamic IT team. This is a largely internal facing and helpdesk based role. The successful candidate will be an established network engineer operating at 3rd level or 2nd/3rd level and have extensive experience with support for servers and Microsoft systems is essential.

Experience with VM Ware and Citrix is also beneficial. This company are an impressive name in the Irish IT sector and the package is an impressive one.
Looking for 2 full time NOC engineers for a traditional NOC – BGP and MPLS and switching and routing experience required – must have clear written and spoken English as there are tight SLAs in place, so you will be the person interacting (after training) with the client.

You will be initially brought in on a 6 month basis but the role will go permanent after the 6 months.

• Resolving 2/3rd level escalations
• CCNP qualification
• Troubleshooting persistent problems
• Scripting and Linus capabilities is preferred
• Proactively improving customer key issues (i.e. reducing repeat tickets)
• Acting as subject matter/technical expert on infrequent client visits
• Role requires security clearance to (at minimum) restricted level
