Supply Chain Specialist

We are currently seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist to join a leading international employer at their Belfast facility

Applicants will either be educated to degree level with 3 years relevant experience or HNC/D with a minimum of 6 years experience in a relevant role, i.e. supply chain management, purchasing, operations or engineering.

Additionally you will have project management experience ideally with exposure to any of the following;

Knowledge of EDI including message utilisation, system enablement and onboarding requirements

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

*
Fluency in another European Language. English essential, French or German desireable.

Knowledge of Purchasing principles and techniques

*

6 Sigma experience

*

Experience of working in an SAP environment

*

Experience of Sarbanes Oxley requirements

*

Experience training others on in a formal classroom setting

*

Professional Certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management preferred, e.g. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Certified in Integration Resource Management (CIRM), or comparable international certification (CIPS)
