Windows Server Engineer

We are seeking a Windows Server Engineer for our Kerry based client, an international financial organisation. The Windows Server Engineer will be a joining a support based team with responsibility the client’s business within the Americas and EMEA regions.
You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Window server and voice & data networks. The role will require the successful candidate to work in a shift rota.

The successful candidate will need to have technical skills in the following areas:-
• Microsoft: Windows 2003/2008 Administration, Active Directory
• Citrix: XenApp 5/6, PVS, AppSense 7/8
• Programming languages: Korn shell, Java, XML,
• Symantec Netbackup 6.5/7
• CISCO: UCS Blade Chassis and FI
• VMWARE: ESXi, vCenter, Update Manager, vMotion, DRS, Distributed Switches
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Storage: SAN technologies, Fibre-channel, iSCSI, WWN

The Windows Server Engineer will have the following experience:
• Good understanding of Windows infrastructures (including 2003 & 2008)
• Established experience in enterprise Citrix/XenApp infrastructure
• Experience of managing virtualised infrastructure
• Customer focused, flexible and willing to take ownership of issues
• Previous Wintel project experience including infrastructure implementation and deployment
• Good interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
