A leading insurance company has an exciting new position now open for senior project manager. The snr project manager will be responsible for driving through key elements of the PMO maturity plan. They will be a key resource in implementing existing project governance and controls while driving the roll-out of key initiatives for the PMO office
Essential
* IT/Computer Science Qualification
* 5yrs experience within a PMO function.
* Expertise in PMO development and proven track record in implementation of PMO controls
* Experience in similar PMO environment where PMO best practice tools and processes have been implemented
* Communication Skills – proven ability to implement PMO communication strategy
* Experience of resource management and project management controls
* Excellent communication skills – ability to provide valuable information related to the project status in a timely and effective manner
* Negotiation skills – capable of working with all levels within the organisation by building relationships with them
* Analytical skills
* Commitment to continuous improvement project reporting
* Microsoft Project & Microsoft Excel
* People/motivation skills
