Job Summary
The Snr PMO Analyst will be responsible for driving through key elements of the PMO maturity plan. They will be a key resource in implementing existing project governance and controls while driving the roll-out of key initiatives for the PMO office.
Key Tasks
• Implementing priority elements of PMO improvement plan.
• Assisting and driving change in resource planning and management.
• Provision of timely and accurate management reports.
• Management of a set of project tracking and measurements tools to facilitate the delivery of strategic projects
• Managing the appropriate feedback loops to ensure that lessons learned on projects are transferred to the Project Managers to improve future project delivery.
• Generating resource activity plans
• Auditing projects as necessary to ensure compliance with agreed governance controls.
Essential
• IT/Computer Science Qualification
• 5yrs experience within a PMO function.
• Expertise in PMO development (e.g.P3M3) and proven track record in implementation of PMO controls
• Experience in similar PMO environment where PMO best practice tools and processes have been implemented
• Communication Skills – proven ability to implement PMO communication strategy
• Experience of resource management and project management controls
• Excellent communication skills – ability to provide valuable information related to the project status in a timely and effective manner
• Negotiation skills – capable of working with all levels within the organisation by building relationships with them
