An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Java Programmer to join my client’s city centre Application Development team on a permanent basis. My client is a national leader in the provision of financial advisory services to both private clients and large corporations, and they’re looking for a candidate with 1-2 years broad Java programming experience.

This Java Developer role within this great company’s IT department will include the design, development and support of my client’s business applications. You will be involved in documenting requirements and offering technical and functional solutions to key business problems.

Skills Required:

* Educated to degree level in an IT discipline
* 1 years Java development experience
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
* Excellent knowledge of RDBMS development in SQL
* Experience working with XML, XSLT, Apache, Tomcat
* Some knowledge of development using Microsoft tools
* Experience working with Unix
