Strong understanding of software and electronics technology.
Advantageous Skills:
Formal project management qualification, e.g. PMP.
Hands-on experience in the design and development of software.
Experience of software version control systems and bug trackers, e.g. Subversion, Trac.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Plan, lead and manage multiple small to medium size software engineering projects.
Manage projects through the full engineering life cycle – from concept through to product.
Gather requirements, trace their implementation and carefully manage requirements churn.
Gather estimates, form plans and budgets. Continuously track effort, risks and dependencies.
