This is a brand new role being created within the pre-sales team. Based with an IT Multinational, this is a great opportunity to join a world leader and build upon your professional career. Working in conjunction with teams from Sales, Marketing as well as Product Managers the successful candidate will be the technical link between the Sales reps, the Helpdesk, the pre-sales team and their customers.

Responsibilities
Handling all pre sales technical queries from customers via telephone and email
Providing software and/or network troubleshooting on minor technical issues
Interacting with engineering teams to provide solutions for more complex problems
Sharing solutions and best practise with other engineers to provide more efficient and a better quality service to customers
Participate in new product testing programmes

Skills and Experience
Third level qualification within a technical field – CCNA/MCSE/Checkpoint is highly desirable
Fluency in German and English
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role within an IT environment with experience in some of the following:

Server Desktop Operating Systems, Messaging Servers, Firewalls, Networking Architecture
A strong understanding of the TCPIP networks is necessary to be successful in this role
Excellent knowledge of Linux, Unix and MS Windows OS
Flexibility to travel if required
An appreciation for the sales process will be a distinct advantage
Excellent telephone manner and previous experience giving presentations will be hugely beneficial
