Lead Solutions Architect (Contract Role) – London

I currently have a requirement for a lead solutions architect for a leading firm in the consultancy and solutions sector.
The role will be based on site in a leading investment bank in the city of London.

As Lead Solutions Architect you will lead the design of solutions for large projects and programmes. You will be responsible for the translation of business requirements into technology architectures, simplifying the existing architecture and be a key driver of the design in key areas of strategies programmes.

The ideal candidate will have proven architecture and design experience within financial services businesses and working knowledge of Murex trading platform is highly desirable.

A good knowledge of Capital Markets is required to fulfill the duties of this role. You should have a broad understanding of the trade lifecycle & associated products, knowledge of how front office trading desks work and the back office processes that support this.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

*Leading the design of large complex systems
*End to end solution of the project through the entire life cycle
*Acting as principal advisor for the domain technology architecture and strategy
*Provide coaching and mentoring of architects across the team
*Stakeholder management across the bank and help provide governance to the technology delivery programme
*Good foresight and help plan for future technology investments
