We are seeking a Network and Telecoms Engineer for our Kerry based client, an international finance organisation. Working as part of a support team, the Network and Telecoms Engineer will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Windows Servers and Voice & Data networks within the Americas and EMEA regions. Candidates will be required to participate in a shift rota.
The successful candidate will have the following technical skills:
• Avaya Communication Manager 5.x/6.x
• Avaya G350/G650/G700 Media Gateways
• Avaya S8300/S8720 Media Servers
• Cisco IOS configuration
• Cisco NXos configuration
• Cisco 7500, 3700, 3600, 2800, 2600 series routers
• Cisco 7018, 6513, 4500, series switches
• Storage: SAN technologies, Fibre-channel, iSCSI, WWN
• Nortel Meridian Option 11, Nortel Meridian Mail 12 & Nortel OTM software
• Microsoft DHCP and DNS
You will have real-world experience of supporting enterprise voice and networking solutions (voice platforms, end-stations, LAN and WAN). Cisco CCNP or demonstrable equivalent experience as well as Avaya Communication Manager 5.x/6.x voice platform accreditation would be an advantage.
You will be customer focused, flexible and willing to take ownership of issues.
