Electronics Design Engineer

We are currently seeking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer to join an expanding global manufacturer at their County Antrim facility.

Duties with this role will include;

* Contribute to the development of existing and creation of new products through electronic design of circuits and systems
* As required, conduct research and validate designs within area of responsibility
* To be responsible for specific component development, ensuring best use in design and production applications
* Review of customer specifications and other documentation
* Develop schematics and PCB layouts on Altium CAD package and hold reviews
* Co-ordinate the building of prototypes, testing, validation and de-bugging for parts/products within remit
* Characterisation, Validation tests and Test-To-Failure plans as and when required
* Organise relevant testing, ensuring that necessary equipment has been identified, that plans have been agreed with relevant parties and that milestones are met
* Support QA Labs in the setup of validation tests
* Liaise with suppliers with respect to new technology and components
Applicants must possess an electronics degree with at least 2 years previous experience. In return you can expect an excellent package.
